Help families COMPETE in their fights and advance treatments to CURE brain cancer.
Our non-profit raises money to fund local research for Glioblastoma, or grade 4 brain cancer, while also helping families navigate their diagnosis, and assist in any way possible with the many burdens they may be facing and feeling with this aggressive terminal disease.
Honoring Adam Burns
January 1987 - December 2022
Adam was a teacher, coach, husband, father, as well as family member and friend to many. He died too young due to glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. In his fight for his life, he reminded us of the things that were important, including... "In all you do, COMPETE!"
About COMPETE FOR A CURE
COMPETE FOR A CURE is a non-profit recognized tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3).
Adam helped co-found COMPETE FOR A CURE only 6 months after his GBM diagnosis to help other families also battling brain cancer, as well as to fund researched needed to find a cure.
100% of proceeds are gifted to families with a brain cancer to help them COMPETE in their fight, and also to local research needed to CURE glioblastoma.
